Lift Off With Roswell's Spaceship is a spaced out, minimalistic, beatless synth tripper by Nukubus.

Nukubus is the long time alias of Jan Katsma, one half of Syncom Data. He reflects on this song: "Late nineties I met Rens aka Roswell Return through work. We had a common interest in electronic music and ended up jamming in his studio. He shared, a bit reluctantly, his studiorecordings. They were fantastic! Eventually we released his music on SD Records: Probe, IFTODEX C0001 and This Time Around. I'm still proud and thankful that we were able to release those records. Timeless stuff. Rens was constantly looking for progress and new ways of doing things. He started studying piano and sold most of his gear. One of his synths ended up in my studio. We share an interest in astronomy and this inspired me to create Lift Off With Roswell's Spaceship. I wanted to create something basic, but powerfull. A minimalistic synth melody that evolves. I made a clip with it, inspired on space travel and images of the sun: big and almost eternal. I guess this song is a tribute to some great times Rens and I had in his studio and a loving acknowledgement of his positive and creative influence. Namasté."
