Great debut by UK based James Marrs on the consistenly unpredictable Syncom Data Records. Four raw, sample induced industrial house tracks. Perfect dancefloor material. For a basement strobo party in a David Lynch movie, that is. Mental stuff.

If you're looking for a friendly way into the Opal Tapes catalogue I'm afraid there isn't one. However, this is a great (and very decently priced) introduction to the distinct sound this label has made its own with some fantastic slices of techno. AJ.
